Larry Martinez is best known for his complex museum quality jewelry inspired by design elements as varied as early Meso-American, Scythian, Egyptian and other ancient cultures of the Fertile Triangle, and the traditional work of Native America, particularly that of the Navajo, Hopi, Rio Grande Pueblos and the Pacific Northwest.
Larry’s work has been exhibited at the Millicent Rogers Museum, the Taylor Museum in Colorado Springs, University of Texas Art Museum, Museum of New Mexico in Santa Fe, Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Collection in Williamsburg Virginia, the William Nelson Gallery and Atkins Museum in Kansas City, Missouri and the Heard Museum in Arizona, as well as many private collections.
